Exciting round tour with degustation
Butter from the cheese dairy, flour from the village mill and a Bretzeli, which is based on a recipe more than a century old: If you take the eBike from Langnau through the characteristic Emmental hilly landscape, you will feel transported back in time and learn where the raw materials for the biscuit specialities come from.
The 30km long eBike tour starts/finishes in Langnau at the railway station and leads through typical Emmental regions. The route is fully signposted with the signs for SwitzerlandMobility, Route No. 777. It leads through the Hüenerbachgraben up to the Hüpfenboden mountain cheese dairy, where you must buy a piece of Emmental cheese. The breathtaking view follows on top of the Blapbach - on the left the Napf, on the right the Hohgant, the imposing Schrattenfluh and at the back the Bernese High Alps.
After a fast descent through the Chrümpelgraben it is time to recharge the batteries in Trubschachen: At Kambly, the finest biscuits (about 100 Guetzlis varieties) await us... and a battery charging station for the eBike. In the visitor centre, 100 years of Kambly history are also presented in a multimedia format, you like to watch the Maîtres Confiseurs and then try (free of charge) all kinds of Guetzli to your heart's content in the shop/restaurant - before you start shopping.
A varied and useful eBike tour app provides exciting information on the 14 Points of Interest... and takes us back to Langnau via Hapbach and Gohl with GPS support.
